What I'm Wearing: The New Vintage

Yesterday I was lucky enough to have a day of shopping in London with the girls from work. We hit up Selfridges, Carnaby Street, all our favourite flagship stores, Victoria's Seceret and so on. Whilst in Selfridges I saw the most gorgeous bra. It has been featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine and was this dusty pink colour witha  vintage styling by Fifi Chachnil, but at £110 I couldn't justify it. Later on I wondered into the flagship Topshop store on Oxford Street and found almost the exact same bra, with matching bottoms of £34 in total! So of course I couldn't resist and I bought them.

I also like to wear underwear as outerwear. When you're spending a certain amount on underwear just for it to be hidden I think it's a bit sad. So I teamed this beautiful Topshop bra with a Navy Blue Satin A-Line Skirt from clothing line Nüer, which has been started by my best friend, and will launch late autumn/early winter. I also paired it up with a vintage inspired blue woolen coat and killer heels.

I think this is actually a really on-trend look. It's a little bit flirtatious but in a classic refined way. I love the lace detailing on this bralet and it would be absolutely criminal to keep it hidden all the time!  I think every girls underwear draw should be spilling over with amazing pieces in lace, silk and satin, how can you start the day without good underwear? It's like applying make-up without foundation! I hope you love this look!
